  1. HERE’S HOW TO ENTER:  Beginning 8:00:00 AM ET on 11/16/09, visit www.PeptoInstaCoolSweeps.com and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the entry form and submit an entry into the Sweepstakes. Entrants will also have the opportunity to submit a story (not to exceed 250 characters including spaces) telling us how new Pepto with InstaCool could have helped you chill out. Stories will not be judged and are not a requirement for entry. Select story submissions (as determined by Sponsor) may be featured on www.PeptoInstaCoolSweeps.com. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on 1/4/10. Limit one entry per email address per day. If more than one entry is received per person per day, only the first such entry received will be eligible.

  2. ELIGIBILITY:  This promotion is open only to residents of the 49 United States (excluding Maine) and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Procter & Gamble, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and internet agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void in Maine and where prohibited by law.

  3. RANDOM DRAWING:  A random drawing will be conducted on or about 1/5/10 from among all eligible entries received. Random drawing will be conducted by D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this offer. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

  4. PRIZE:  (1) Grand Prize - Winner will receive a 5-day/4-night trip for two, to attend 5 Sponsor-specified sporting events including Women’s Figure Skating (short program), to cheer on Team USA at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada February 21-25, 2010. Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation from major airport nearest winner’s home, 4 nights hotel accommodations (1 room; double occupancy), breakfast daily, ground transfers to/from hotel/airport in Vancouver and hotel/sporting venues, and $2,500 spending money for winner. Approximate Retail Value: $22,500. The actual retail value of the prize will depend on winner's point of departure/return. Winner and guest must travel on same itinerary. Winner and guest are solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein, including but not limited to additional meals, gratuities, baggage fees, additional transportation, upgraded room accommodations, souvenirs and other incidentals and items of a personal nature. In the event any or all of the select sporting events are cancelled or postponed for any reason, Sponsor will have no obligation to award compensation in lieu thereof but the remainder of the trip will be awarded. Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize.

  5. GENERAL RULES:  All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and none will be returned. Story submissions cannot contain any commercial/corporate advertising other than Sponsor’s (including but not limited to brand names, slogans, political, personal and religious statements) and they must not contain defamatory statements (including words that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group); they must not include threats to any person, place, business, or group; they must not invade privacy or other rights of any person, firm, entity, and they must not in any way violate applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations. Submissions may not describe indecent behavior, nor contain profanities or obscenities, including but not limited to pornography, and may not in any way disparage persons or organizations associated with Sponsor. Story submissions should not include any personally identifiable information (i.e. last name, address, place of work etc.) of yourself or any other person(s). Submissions must be suitable for presentation in a public forum, in sole determination of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to reproduce the story submissions in full or edit and enhance the submissions at its discretion. Sponsor is authorized to use story submissions as it sees fit, including usage in advertising and online without compensation or opportunity for review by entrant. Not all stories will be posted including those that describe usage experiences that do not comply with Sponsor’s standards. By submitting a story submission, entrant (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) grants permission to Sponsor to use story as it sees fit. Sponsor can remove story for any reason at anytime. Potential Grand Prize winner (or parent/legal guardian if potential winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, Prize Acceptance Form and, if legally permissible, a Publicity Release within (5) days of attempted delivery of same. Noncompliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification without further notice and an alternate winner will be selected, time permitting. Winner will be notified by phone/overnight delivery. Traveling companion must also complete and return a Release of Liability within (5) days of winner’s attempted notification. If winner is a minor, winner’s parent/legal guardian will be required to accompany winner on trip and will count as the winner’s guest. If a minor is selected as a traveling companion, winner must be his/her parent/legal guardian and will be required to complete Release of Liability on minor’s behalf. All travelers must possess required travel documents (e.g. valid passport, visa etc.) prior to departure. All travelers must agree to depart and return on dates specified by the Sponsor; dates of departure and return are subject to change. No substitution or transfer of prize by winner permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. All taxes and fees, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of winner. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded. By accepting prize, winner (or parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) agrees to hold Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, and the USOC, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winner (or parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, including a winners list, unless prohibited by law. Entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all liability and damages. By participating in this promotion, entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the judges’ decisions which are final. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize.

    NOTICE TO ONLINE ENTRANTS: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Not responsible for faulty, incorrect or mistranscribed phone transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or experiencing any materials in connection with the promotion, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user's ability to participate in the promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the promotion if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the program; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration or security of the program as determined by Sponsor/judging agency/administrator, in their sole discretion. In the event of termination, a notice will be posted online and the drawing will be conducted from among all eligible entries received prior to termination. Any damage made to the Web Site will be the responsibility of the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any entries which are suspected of being fraudulent (including those using robotic, automatic, programmed or similar methods of participation) will be disqualified, based on determinations made solely by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the account holder fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules.
